Since 1980, AK Industries has been producing quality products for the waste water industry. AK's original product line was mainly fiberglass composition but in 1992 rotational molding equipment was installed for the production of a complete line of polyethylene basins.
Today, AK's facility occupies over 90,000 square feet of manufacturing space, employing over 90 people that produce literally hundreds of products including fiberglass and polyethylene basins, basin covers, accessories, poly septic tanks and specialized custom products.
AK Industries manufactures a variety of different sized environmentally safe products. These products are unequalled in design and workmanship. The basin sizes are availabel from 18" diameter up to and including 120" and any specified depth. AK also manufactures fiberglass valve boxes and extensions.
All of our fiberglass basins meet the ASTM #D3753-99. The resin used shall be of a commercial grade and shall either be evaluated as a laminate by test or determined by previous service to be acceptable for the environment.
The reinforcing materials are commercial grade of glass fiber having a coupling agent, which will provide a suitable bond between the glass reinforcement and the resin.
AK's Water Box and Sink Tray are the answers to handling the water for laundry tubs, washing machines, wet bars and other storage and pump applications. They are the perfect size to fit under any sink or wash tub.
If you are planning to install a new bathroom, then we have just what you're looking for. With AK's Pump Jon System, you can install a toilet in a basement, workshop, cabin, or anywhere you need it. Because of the Pump Jon System, you will not have to tear up concrete floors and install underground soil lines.

All of our basins are made of non-corrosive polyethylene material (except the Poly Pro Series Basins, which are made of non-corrosive polypropylene). Our basins have a unique molded insert design that allows for a tight cover fit and protects screws from corrosion. All of our basins accept Adapt-A-Flex, cast iron hub, internal hub, or PVC fittings. We also offer a locking footplate, which can be put in the bottom of the basin, to keep the pump in place. These basins are available in a variety of sizes and hole configurations.
